Ocean Lotus is a nonprofit corporation, founded by Lama Jigme Rinpoche in September 2008.
It reaches out to those in very difficult situations around the world. The objective is to console, bring aid, medical attention, education,
and basic needs to those who are suffering. Additionally, it is a priority to preserve culture and religious heritage around the world.

Lama Jigme Rinpoche was inspired to create this organization from a deep well of compassion,
nurtured by thorough studies, contemplation and meditation.
